MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR (P&V):

• At least Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institution.
• Minimum of 2 - 6 years working experience as Mechanical Supervisor (P&V) in Oil&Gas, Petrochemical Company that is mainly concerned in construction / operation & maintenance / fabrication and piping.
• Must be able to supervise and participate in the preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance activities of the plant equipments at the assigned location.
• Able to participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of shutdown and major overhaul maintenance activities.
• Must be able to supervise through the Foreman, the work of Specialist Pipe Fitters, Pipe Fabricators and welders in maintaining, repairing and overhauling pipelines, vessels and tanks in the process plants, tank farm and other areas. Organize the necessary equipment (Cranes, Compressors, Browsers) to implement jobs.
• Able to assist the section head in establishing priorities, making improvements on work methods and to participate in evaluation modification proposals, failure analysis and unscheduled shutdowns.
• Ensures adherence of subordinates and contracted workforce with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
• Ensures that all work carried out by the personnel under the Supervisor's authority complies with the company and best Industry Practices. Organize the necessary boats to implement offshore works.
• Able to implement the planned maintenance programme in liaison with operating branches and keeps record of work completed. Supervises additional workforce during major overhaul and shutdowns.
• Able to prepare the list of spare parts, tools and other material required for the maintenance jobs and issue the purchase / material requisitions for the section head approval.
• Must be able to inspect and confirm that specifications are inline with the requirement for the received direct charge and stock materials. Conduct toolbox meetings with subordinates for discussing safety and methods of completing job tasks.
• Must be able to evaluate equipment performance problems and to suggest modification / available new technology to reduce overall maintenance cost. Direct and participate in performing Condition Monitoring or Rotating equipment and advice on the maintenance schedule based on analysis.
• Able to implement equipment manufacturer service bulletin and TILS recommendations. Interface and coordinate with other sections in sorting out equipment problems and maintenance activities.
• Able to supervise all rigging and lifting operations in the plant areas.
• Good English communication skills.
