OPERATIONS & STATION SUPERVISOR:

• Bachelors Degree in Custom Administration or its equivalent from a recognized University / Institution.
• Minimum of 7 years working experience as Operations / Station Supervisor in a courier service / logistics company.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Must be responsible for monitoring and supervising the input, movement, process/sort, and output of various functions of the hub or station within the region to ensure a high level of service quality.
• Able to supervise all Hub activities, including scheduling, package handling, package sorting, package movement and vehicle routing.
• Able to monitor daily Hub performance reports and acts upon areas which require problem solving and improvement.
• Able to provide proper security for packages (customer properties) and evaluate assignment of trucks to line-hall routes on the basis of volume and truck performance. Schedules HD Drivers to routes.
• Must ensure shipments are properly loaded and manifested on scheduled trucks and ensure proper scanning of packages according to established tracking procedures.
• Able to monitor and verify inbound and outbound packages and provide periodic information and reports regarding supervised employees. Coordinates all operations within the hub.
• Must efficiently assign tasks to the Hub workgroups and inspects facilities and vehicles to ensure good company image and safe working environment.
• Knowledgeable in the supervision of the station’s pick up and delivery (PD) operations within the station’s area, including package movements from and to service centers (SC) and monitor daily Station performance reports and acts upon areas which require problem solving and improvement.
• Able to assign couriers to business zones within the station’s area ensuring that all customer points are reached effectively and efficiently. Ensures proper routing within the station’s area and zones.
• Must ensure adherence to established PD and Line-Hall (LH) schedules and assists management by answering questions concerning deliveries and package status.
• Able to perform an overall audit function on packages in-house and on the vehicles and provide periodic information and reports regarding supervised employees.
• Knowledgeable in the inspection of facilities and vehicles to ensure good company image and safe working environment.
• Able to provide proper security for packages (customer properties) and ensure smooth flow of dispatching procedures.
• Good English communication skills.
