STATION AGENT:

• At least High School Graduate or Vocational / Technical Degree from a recognized University / Institution.
• Minimum of four (4) years working experience as Station Agent with knowledge in operations administration, with related background in Data entry and Manifesting.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledgeable in all administrative work within the hub or the station, including manifesting and data entry and works under Station Supervisor and might be assisted by data encoders if volume necessitates.
• Able to maintain and organize records, files and forms related to the Station of the assigned Station facility (Hub of Station), including AWBs, POD files, manifests, cage data and service failures statistics.
• Able to code and/or audit Airway Bills (AWBs) and other records as required.
• Able to enter AWBs in the Information System (for Station Assignment Only); reviews and crosstallys paper AWBs with data entered in the Information System.
• Able to assist management by answering questions concerning deliveries and package status.
• Assists the Station Supervisor in scheduling work within the facility.
• Handles dispatch and PD Station if needed.
• Must coordinate the work activities within the facility; answers questions and provides guidance in solving work problems.
• Able to answer facility telephone lines and responds to requests.
• Able to operate all facility’s office machines and automated systems; trains facility staffs on automated systems and equipment that is relevant to their work.
• Assumes other assignments specified by the Station Supervisor.
• Good English communication skills.
