Qualification:

STATION MANAGER:

 

  • At least Bachelors Degree in Business Management / Customs Administration or its equivalent from a recognized University / Institution.
  • Minimum of 2-7 years of working experience as Regional/Station Manager in any courier service/logistics company or related experience in operations administration.
  • Able to plan, direct and control all operations within the assigned region in a way that provides maximum service to customers while maintaining a cost effective stations operations in the region.
  • Must ensure the Station Manager (s) in scheduling & organizing the courier routes in the assigned area to minimize loss of time and better service to customers.
  • Must ensure proper implementation of designed schedules in terms of sorting, pickup and deliver.
  • Monitors daily station (s) performance reports and suggesting corrective measures to Station Manager (s) in order to maintain & enhance agreed service levels.
  • Maintains the Station (s) current and future equipments operating procedures & requirements effectively in complying with company policy and approved budget.
  • Assesses accuracy and confirms that work meets business standards and policies/procedures in taking actions within own authority/recommending those actions requiring higher authority.
  • Ensures the service provided according to SMSA/FedEx operating procedures with 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Support SMSA/FedEx corporate branding image through proper use of signage, uniforms, vehicle, facilities, etc.
  • Assess accuracy of services provided, recommends quality service indicators to meet SMSA / FedEx image requirements.
  • Ensures collective high standards of performance from the team, communicating/ allocating work requirements, priorities, expectations, and responsibilities. Guides/trains team members on work procedures and systems. Motivate team members to create a productive and cordial atmosphere that meets deadlines and achieves objectives.
  • Allocates work within normal priorities, and exercises day-to-day control of staff. Gains approvals for overtime, leave, recommends disciplinary action where required, recommending increments for consistently improved productivity and performance.
  • Assists management by answering questions concerning deliveries and package status.
  • Coordinates the work activities within the facility; answers questions and provides guidance in solving work problems.
  • Must posses Excellent Interpersonal Understanding. Strong Achievement Drive And Initiative, expected to neat in appearance, strong communications skills, Strong Ability To Impact And Influence.
