MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN:

• At least Vocational Graduate / Technical Degree in Mechanical Technology or Industrial Technology or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution.
• Minimum of 2 - 15 years of working experience as Mechanical Technician, mainly concerned in the repair & maintenance of Air Compressors (Oil free & Injected), Dryer & Cooling Evaporators.
• Able to inspect compressor parts and detect failing, i.e. identify mechanical and electrical maintenance requirement.
• Able to follow the instructions of Works Order sheet and the general trouble shooting procedures.
• Knowledgeable in dismantling and replace defective parts, diagnose abnormal conditions in compressors performance. Setup and operate lathe, drill press, grinder and other workshop machines. Check and test functionality of compressors parts and make the necessary adjustments and calibration. Request the necessary parts from store.
• Able to make performance tests for compressors and record results. Initiate release and completion of the service Work Order. Do the overhauling and replace Air End.
• Able to inspect Dryers (Refrigerator & Desiccant) parts and detect failing, i.e. identify mechanical and electrical maintenance requirement.
• Able to inspect Evaporators parts and detect failing, i.e. identify mechanical and electrical maintenance requirement.
• Good English communication skills.
